This year was extra special because we had burritos! Just kidding, because Xander came all the way home from South Korea! But the burritos were pretty good, too. It wasn’t Xander’s birthday, but we figured we could celebrate a month early since he will be away in March. Gotta love the Tres Leches chocolate cake with strawberries ❤️ Thanks Mommy! Good times with friends… I see Josiah, Nate, Ellie and Tucker joined us for a game of Catan!

We headed to the mountain and firsts-things-first we got the family banner up. Wow, we have some memories with that decoration! Looking very handsome there Cachito in your Eddie Bauer cardigan. ❤️ Travis and Xander dualing at Catan again.

Liem, Xander and Daddy decided to hit the slopes at Timberline. Another Best Day!

I gotta say, one of the best things about Valentines day is just hanging out and relaxing in the cabin. Hmmm, who’s feet could those be? Oh! Abia! Mommy always spoils us with delicious food. Even delux pink chocolate fortune cookies! Travis here with his gear for going up to the lodge. Books to read and people to watch! Our view from the front window… beautiful mountain. I guess schoolwork is always a thing, but everyone loves a good board game. Risk! ❤️

Going outside the cabin, we did a little exploring. We found an old lake house building… old a creepy. Just right. 🙂
Cachito loved the smells there and wanted to do a little extra exploring… that dog could barely make it through the snow drifts! Then he needed a blanket warmup ❤️
We found an old lantern that reminded us of Narnia. Then the boys (including Cachito, of course) headed off to explore the rest of the neighborhood.

Travis said, “Hey why not bury me in the snow?” Xander said, “Hey, me too.” Cachito: “What about me?”

Eventually, you have to pack up and go home… but hey, there’s burritos 🙂

Back home, started preparing for Xander to leave. The cousins came over for a send off prayer. Xander and I planted some trees. Then off to the airport and our next adventure.

We had a great time for our anniversary 2025. Can’t wait for next year!
