A J-Root Christmas ;)

I always liked to joke that we should have given all our kids “J-Root” for their middle name. Here is a picture when we were getting ready to plant the first trees. We had no idea what we were doing but the instructions said “No J-Roots”. That’s when you jam a tree in the hole and the bare roots are pointed like J … meaning upwards instead of pointing down.

We did our best and planted more than 100 Christmas trees that day.

And here we are 7 years later! This is our our tallest of the trees.

Liem is down there cutting it at the ground. Nice work!

I know it looks like 3 guys carrying a tree, but really Liem is doing all the work 🙂

Even in this picture

Notice how heavy it looks for Travis.

Look at that beauty! And the tree is nice, too 😉 Hmmm… it looks like our trees are not the only thing that grew in 7 years!

And while some things grow and change… other things just stay the same ❤️
